...  My take is that the games have become stagnant when we plan the same games repetitively.  I really enjoy playing COD4 online, but get bored with it at the LAN.  When we end up playing it for hours, then I just lose interest.  We all probably have our game that do this to us at the LANS.
I honestly get tired of COD4 at times as well.  But we are all aware of the CS:S players (they are just the most visible group) who almost only play CS:S and play it for 46 out of 48 hours at the LAN.  So one game can sustain a good LAN but I do like when we change things up now and then.

Agreed that a few games in rotation is good.  My point in the post from previous is that it's not the peeps that get stagnant, but the games at times.

Note:  Some peeps get stagnant in other ways during the LANS.  You know who you are ! Gas Bombers!

Everyone has to start somewhere and it looks like they have a decent list of sponsors. Don't be a butt! Most LAN Parties survive off of one another! Also, I don't think you are qualified to make such suggestions about what people use for their site since I have yet to see you maintain anything commercial or do anything in your professional portfolio.

Resorting to ad hominem attacks off the cuff is indicative that you have no idea what you are talking about. My personal portfolio not withstanding, I am more than qualified to judge a website and work that has been on it and draw a valid personal opinion for such.

On a unrelated note, I feel it is incredibly unprofessional for a leader of  a organization to belittle a member nearly for stating his own personal opinion

I said I have yet to see it, and I STILL don't. You could enlighten me and give me some sort of proof. (Like some organization's site you run or the like.) I can change my mind. You called a guests site's software crap and laughed at them for only having 34 members. I only responded that way because you belittled a guest's organization. I find it condescending that I should have to put up with you being rude to a guest and you calling me unprofessional for it.

It was not my intent for my remarks to be taken as arrogant or belittling towards the Burning Lan organization and I admit that there was a lapse in judgment on how I worded my post. However my statement of calling you unprofessional was a direct result of how you personally decided to handle this situation. Rather than delete my original post, you decided to personally retaliate against me (while leaving my original post intact, which should be removed all together if your overall concern would be to protect the image of the Fites organization.. I have since removed my post)

I stated that personally felt Joomla is not a very good CMS to use for websites which has no relation whatsoever to the Burning Lan organization. My attempt to navigate through there website pulled numerous 404 and PHP Script errors which is why I said there website was on the fritz. I hardly feel that pointing out navigation issues to website developers, would be considered "poking fun" rather constructive criticism so they may correct the problems to ensure "user friendliness" on there site. It was my fault for not elaborating in more detail on what I meant with that statement

Overall I understand how my remarks were taken as arrogant towards the Burning Lan organization and apologize to those who were offended. However, I strongly feel that matters pertaining to the Fites organization should be dealt with in a discrete and professional manner. Such has not been the case with this particular post and or previous events in the past. At no point do I feel "personally attacking" other active members in a manner "other than joking intent" is appropriate.

I feel that my statements and concerns on this topic have been noted. I further invite you to discuss this matter personally if you find it is necessary. My overall goal would be that we "as a community" would be able to grow in a mature and friendly manner, unprecedented from personal attacks creating a negative and hostile atmosphere to guests

The growing popularity of LAN parties and computer gaming is causing increased electricity and gasoline usage which is burning fossil fuels at a greater pace.  Also the hot air from the bragging of the gamers is causing massive temperature spikes in the vicinity of the LAN parties.

yea you never know these guys from other lans may eventually become part of us although we've been pretty stagnant lately might be the other way around:(
I disagree that we have become stagnant.  We continue to bring in new members and there are usually new faces at the LANs.  I think the hype has diminished since we haven't had the 150 yet but as soon as it is announced you will see the boards lighting up.
It just feels slow to me i guess cause we haven't had a major event in a long time. IDK... i know it coming.

I think this would call for 1 or 2 rounds where it is everyone against F3ar0n.  All those who agree say "Yes".

I think it would be better if DWG115 would switch teams.  Well then again he is always working for the other team anyway.
