They just ran some protons through it today. They are planning for some low level collisions in October and then fine-tuning things over the winter before the high-energy collisions this thing was designed for take place.
Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!

Okay guys, lets start to get our armaments ready. Lets baton down the hatches. Lets build our city walls.

Get ready to defend ourselves from an encroached oppression of Government and mutated alien creatures of DOOOOOOOOM (not zombies, hmmm..)

This is the European multi-billion dollar project to recreate the big bang theory right (the project which they've dedicated like 37 miles to create)

Least when they have an atomic nuclear meltdown it'll be across the big pond and wont affect us

Oh, not an atomic nuclear meltdown.....It could possibly create a small singularity - even though Mr. hawking says it will harmlessly disappear since it would be so small - never the less, it is still a black hole! It does have the possibility to rip a hole in the delicate fabric of space and time causing it to fold in on itself thus ripping everything we know and love apart atom by atom.
That's Mr. Deception to you.
