I'm not going to bother buying the game at 60 freaking bucks. I'll wait till steam has a discount on it.

apparently they think they can charge the same amount for the PC as they normally do for the consoles.... Good Luck with that.

So here's my take on this...

I actually look forward to the possibilities of IW.net because it has the potential for me to play with console players as well as PC players. I have friends on both sides of the community.

For me a lack of dedicated servers isn't that big of a deal. No custom sounds, maps, visual creations? Okay, I just want to play the game. Having done console gaming a lot I kind of like the matchmaking experience. It's not that bad.

On a side note, I already pre-ordered from Amazon. For all those people wondering about a deal you can get a $20 coupon towards another purchase (to include another pre-order) when you buy it on Amazon. They also have release date shipping for 6 bucks.

EA turned their backs on PC gamers when they didn't release Bad Company to PCs. I never bought a copy for my 360 in protest. Here it remains to be seen if this is detrimental to the PC crowd or an evolution. On a side note: I really hope for dedicated servers.

  I am not pre-ordering it.

  Dedicated servers allow admins to b& the 13 year old racist douchenozzles that have turned xbox live into a giant greifing fest.  It allows us to play games after Infinity Ward decides that it is no longer financially in their best interest to keep the servers going.  I imagine there will be very few if any MW2 servers up when MW3 comes out.

  Theres no reason for me to buy the game at launch, I will play the single player and see how the online thing plays out before spending a dime.

in my opinion the PC sales for this game will flop big time. Just from listening to people on here & some i know who play in leagues, alot of people are not buying. & for 60 bucks....forget it
