I know a few of us are xbox modders, so I figured I could ask around here before selling my broken xbox. I would really like to get it working again, but (this was an old post), I $#*&'ed up the motherboard during chip installation. So if anyone has any type of motherboard (I will be installing a modchip, so no need for the MB/HD combo), let me know.

You should try to get ahold of Bloodpainter. That is all he ever did with those things, I will try to get ahold of him as well. You could always try ebay if you haven't already.

The problem is, I got the box for $60 dollars, accidently fried the MB, and could send it to Llama.com and get about 30$ for it. Most MB on Ebay are at least $50 without shipping... so if I could find a MB for close to 30$, I will buy it, if not, I will send it to the Llama guys.

What did you do to it? Break the etching off of D0?

While installing the pin header, I lifted a trace that pulled the whole thing out back to the graphics chip. I've tried to repair it multiple times, but cant seem to get it working.http://www.fites.net/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&pos=-2075

It just hit me I have $115 bucks from the lan party. I could go buy a refurbished xbox. They are only $109, what is a guy to do.

Well, I leave for college tomorrow. This leaves me very little time to do anything with it. If you want to come pick it up sometime, my parents will be here. If you want me to ship it, I can probably have them do that for me as well.
