Title: WANTED: Cheap LCD monitor
Post by: Czar on April 08, 2009, 10:05:17 AM: Yo folks. I`m in the market for a cheap LCD monitor. Nothing fancy at all. 13" at the smallest and I`m trying to keep it to around $50 or less. A few dead pixels are okay, bumps and scratches are just fine. Just has to work.

Suggestions?

SOLD! I`ll take one and`ll bring moolah to the monthly this month. I tested out my mobo and I can enable onboard video and have my 260 plugged in. Triple monitor goodness!

Would comcast want to donate the monitors to a school district? We are in need of new'er monitors. THe compaq POS's we have have a tendency to start smoking if used for too long.

Yep that will be fine. sully 2 1 3 at the google e-mail place (isn't it sad how we obfuscate our e-mail addresses just so spam bots don't pick them up....).

So I count 4 monitors needed currently, Czar, IrishDevil, Rathe, and H4gg4rd, correct?

Decepticon, I'll check with my boss and see if that's something we could arrange, more than likely it would be an "under the table" donation. I'll check into it. Right now they're just sitting around taking up space.

That would be awesome! Let me know when you hear anything! I can have them picked up too, we have trucks and vans and the like if it's a lot.
