Selling the Intel dx58SO mobo
« on: March 06, 2009, 03:37:25 PM »
Im selling the intel CoreI7 motherboard i won at the LAN party.  Im asking $180.00  It's unused and i've never opened the box.  Reason im selling is i use old PS2 keyboards and this board doesn't have any PS2 ports.  Im addicted to my ugly old IBM keyboards.

heres a link to the motherboard.

Never, but never question the engineers judgement.

You're selling a wicked board, due to the fact that you like your ugly-ass keyboard. Doesn't sound like a very valid reason for selling a prime piece of hardware.... especially when Petch mentioned the above. Dammit, Dave!

Here's an idea....just give me your processor AND mobo. You obviously don't understand technology and will not come anywhere near using that hardware properly. In exchange, I will give you my Asus K8VSE Deluxe and Athlon64 3200. It contains PS/2 ports for both a mouse and keyboard that I am no longer in need of as I use the amazing new technology called USB for my input needs. Your cooperation in this transaction is greatly appreciated. It's been a pleasure doing business with you. I believe you have my address from a previous transaction and I look forward to receiving said CPU/mobo in the near future. Good day sir.
Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!

no the other reason im getting rid of it is because it's a poor overclocker so im reading...  Im going to buy the asus instead.  the lack of ps2 and IDE support also play into it.  Yes i figured there were probably adapters but why spend money on a board that im not going to get the full potential out of.  Im hoping to get 3.6-3.8 gig outa this proc.  I will have better luck with the ASUS then the Intel board.

we all have our own tastes when it comes to hardware.  So if one of you want it you can buy it.  Bunch of unhappy bastards...  Oh nevermind i already sold it.
