I have 2 Compaq Presarios for sale. $40 each OBO. Specs include:
Athlon Thunderbird 900mhz processors
128mb sdram
40gb hard drive
Nvidia 16mb graphics card
4x cdrw
dvd rom
Keyboard
mouse

Also for sale are some other random computer parts.  Make me an offer for one or all.  I have:
-zip 100 drive w/adaptor
-zip 250 drive usb powered
-Asus A7V8X Socket A motherboard (condition uknown)
-Pentium 4 1.4ghz processor
-Athlon 1.4ghz processor
-Nvidia Geforce 2mx 32mb AGP graphics card
-pIII 500mhz comp system(not working, not in picture)
-Two unknown ISA sound cards
-Unkown pci 56k modem
-External Supra 56k modem with adaptor
-Thermaltake heatsink & fan for Socket A
-Unknown Cyrix chip (around 233mhz) & motherboard

I will be at the LAN this weekend, so if anyone is interested, please let me know and I'll bring the requested items.

If anyone wants any I think I have 5 or 6 sitting in junk computers at work.  Especially since they just announced they are closing the place I don't think anyone will mind.

That's funny, I just pulled a Cyrix chip out of a shelf buried in my tech room at work....coincedence?    Yes.

Oh yeah.  They told us Friday that we have 2 months of pay and benefits left.  Some are gonna be out the door by the 15th (they still get paid till end of march) and others get to stay the whole time.  Needless to say the resume has been dusted off and is getting passed around.

It is life.  Luckily I was already looking prior to finding out (kinda saw the writing on the wall) and I will find another job.  Already have some leads.
