Vigor monsoon II intel cpu cooler
« on: January 23, 2008, 10:12:09 AM »
I ordered one of these a while back and they sent me the wrong one (intel instead of AMD).  It's an active cooling cpu heatsink using thermoelectric cooling with a controller unit to prevent condensation.  It's new in the box and I paid $125 for it.  I actually forgot about it and cannot send it back now.  I'd be willing to part with it for $100 or best offer, they still $119 + shipping at newegg.  If you will be at the LAN I can send it over with Rathe since he lives by me (unless the planets align just right and the non gamer wife lets me go to the LAN).

The product info page is HERE.

Oops, just noticed there is a forum for this...if a mod would be so kind as to move this post and save me from retyping it I would appreciate it.

I never knew this thing was out until now...I dont have any 5.25" bays or I'd take it off your hands. I guess I'll have to go with the Lite version with the PCI slots (Extreme Tech had a qx9700 oc'd to 3.5 and it was load at 77 vs the stock at 86...thats 10c less and its oc'd by 500mhz!)
