ARTIC COOLING NV5 Rev.3
« on: February 06, 2007, 11:09:59 PM »
Looking for one of those, I have tried a few places. Frozen Cpu has 2 and amazon has a couple I think. I was wondering what other distributors carry this cooler. I just recently bought a 7800GS and I want to stick this cooler on it because I have had great success with my 5900XT which has a Artic Cooling unit on it.

Best Buy and Circuit City are out. So is xoxide.com, and D&H. Any others? I found one guy on ebay who is selling one and he lives in King of Prussia, PA. So if you know who you are plz get in touch with me. PM or something. Any other places you can think of that deal with AC products?

Actually I found out that no one really makes a cooler for the 7800GS. AC is coming out with one for it sometime this year. It is a passive one, but the nv5 works sort of but they stopped making it. You have to like make something to get power to it, because the cooler interferes with something. But as it turns out the 7800gs is has enough of a cooler to keep it stable. But I will still get the passive one when it comes out.

Zalman should make something that will fit, but they run a little more than AC.
