Up for grabs is my old processor. Bought it back in February of last year. Right before the 200 man lan party. Been in my rig since then. Works great. Have the original heatsink/fan. It is all boxed up, and ready to go. It still goes for $130 on Newegg.

I am letting it go for $60.

Awww damn. According to Asus' cpu list, it would plug into my current board just fine and it'd actually be a worthwhile upgrade from my current dual-core.

I have a motherboard but I dont think it will fit, can I just make it work with a chisel?

Yeah, I do need to upgrade my bios. Turns out a new one just got put out 2 days ago.

aaaand... I think I'll pass. I'd really like to buy it, but I have expenses coming up and some concert tickets to buy this weekend. I'll just wait until tax returns come in again to buy neat stuff as I was planning on building a new 6-core system anyway.
