Looking for a socket 1366 cpu
« on: February 10, 2013, 07:16:01 PM »
I'm trying to set up a new machine for one of the kids and I have a good socket 1366 board but no processor. I'm looking for anyone who may have one they would be willing to part with.

No dice on mine, popped it in a board and instantly remembered why it was retired to the bucket o' parts.  It was mildly overclocked, stock voltage and it started degrading.

Could be a IHS thermal compound issue, I dunno.  Its not stable at stock speeds.
