Title: Almost New Computers, from 1337 St.
Post by: BurntIce on August 01, 2005, 03:20:57 PM
As many of you know, I was involved in the internet gaming cafe 1337 St., may it rest in peace. This was due more to internal issues than lack of business, but anyhow...

We have 4 computers w/ monitors that we would like to sell to help regain lost money. I don't have all the specs right here with me now, but let me give this a go...

Athlon 64 (3000+)
DFI Lanparty M/B
1 Gig PC3200 DDR
80Gig SATA HD
some pretty top level ATI card
sound blaster audigy platinum (?)
19" CRT monitors (these babies are sweet)

These can also come with games if you so choose (Far Cry, HL2, Warcraft 3, Call Of Duty [and UO], and UT2004). All in all, not including games, we could probably let these things go for 600 some odd dollars. I was just wondering if anyone is interested in whole computers, or individual components, I will post an update in a little bit with exact specs. Just leave a message in this topic if interested.

-Sam (n01)

P.S., for that matter, is anyone interested in XBox systems, controllers, games or PS2s, or 27" Flat Screen Teles. (We have nine TV's) We got them in bulk for about 250$ a piece, so maybe 175 to you guys. Like I said, just leave a post if you are interested. I can get pics and such.

Damn. If these are still around in a couple months, definitely. But I still got a bunch of bills to pay at the moment.

What ATI card is in these?

and are you willing to part out one or more of these systems?

i'd be interested in a video card, but don't need a whole system.

you would probably get more for the individual parts, than for the full systems when selling them on fites.

Have you put an ad in the paper?

sorry kids, ive been in C-eh-N-eh-D-eh for the past 4 days with my high school band, but yeah, i can part out as many systems as needed, first come, first serve basis. Wait for an "Official Sale Thread" where i will list exact prices for everything, and post there if you want anything. Should only be another 2-3 days before i have everything priced. Thanks for waiting :)

p.s. sorry i missed Fites, i wish i wouldn't have been in canada....

Nevermind, just ordered a pair of these (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144186) this morning. Should have them by Friday.

I was down to 8KB of free space on my C: drive at the LAN at one point. This should take care of that pretty nicely   :10:

I had talked with n01 at the LAN and the dude who was responsible for the $$ to purchase everything isn't sure if he wants to sell.  So n01 is kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place. (Just don't want you thinking he is blowing you off).
