Just to let everyone know...I've decided to move on from my 939 rig and go AM2. Main reason being that my 8800 will be more efficient and used to it's fullest with ddr2 upgrades and the dual core cpu. I've listed it on ebay as of now, but am looking to get around 300 for the system. It includes 2GB of Crucial Ballistixs DDR500 memory, a AMD 4000+ and a Asus A8N32 SLI Deluxe Mobo. Memory was bought about 2 months ago along with the mobo (bought the memory for 180 bucks new from newegg, the mobo costs around 140 now according to newegg and the cpu can be sold for average of 75). If anyone is interested in it, you can check out the auction for my details/pics or hit me up a msg if ur interested in possibly buying it upright (name a reasonable price) Thanks

I have a similar setup, and it is very nice, I am very tempted to get this myself, if only the GF wouldn't kill me for having a 5th computer.

If I only had an extra $300 to burn.....

Likewise.

Well I'm very disappointed...my setup only went for 195 on ebay. I have a seond chance offer but if anyone would still be interested...I guess I'll settle for around 200 still. It's ashame because most everything I have in this setup is 5 months old or less (like the mem I just bought for 180 bucks on newegg 2 months ago)
Let me know. I'm pretty disappointed, but a pretty maxed 939 setup for around 200 bucks. I don't see how u can go wrong

That 2nd cahnce offer is only available if the buyer does not pay. your setup is sold pretty much. Unless you crap out on the buyer, which is bad.

It's sold none the less now. The buyer was a friends ebay account. I had him max bid it to 200 because I think that it should of reached at least that amount. I do believe this is against ebay policy, but reserves jack up listing prices like crazy. I pretty much don't care at the moment because ebay has become CRAZY PARANOID with security recently it's ridiculous. I prob will be looking for an alternate site to allow me to list my items on online auction. But thats besides the point. Getting back to the topic at hand... The guy who was the 2nd highest though took the offer (rightfully so since it's an entire rig without a vid card for 200 bucks....you'd be crazy to say no)
Anyways, i'm still pissed that it didn't go higher..and I'm not really sure why it didn't either. So now I'm debating the am2 rig to buy.
I was thinking a asus m2n mobo with a amd 4400+ 65nm and 1gb of OCZ mem. Here's links

AMD 4400+ 65nM CPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16819103776
**My debate at the moment is how well will the 4400+ OC for me. I prob will end up trying to OC it to 3ghz...but I haven't found any reviews with the 4400 and showing how well of a cpu it is for OC. I mean if I buy a 3800, I know they can hit 3.2 easily, so I'm not sure why a cpu with 2.3 couldn't hit 3.2 as well. I did read some guy got the 2.3 to 2.9 without even overvolting, so no doubt it should go past 3 which is my intentions. Plus that OCZ mem has headway up to 1ghz past (was originally going with 2gb of crucial ballistixs, but since the prices changed, I had to rethink it). Long as everything goes as planed...I should be able to downgrade to 677 and boost my fsb to hit 3ghz mark at around ddr900. My other option is to spend 15 more dollars and go with a 5200. It's at 2.6 speeds but it's 90nm. I would assume that it would OC to 3ghz (only a 400mhz oc) but i'm just not sure at the moment.
Let me know if you have any thoughts or suggestions on the matter....thanks
