Agreed, but yeah it is a hell of alot better the na 5600XT.
-
Cool, because I just got Morrowind: Oblivion and it runs slow even with all the graphics turned down :P
blacksheep, PM or email me about the card. We can work out the details then.
-
Morrowind: Oblivion
since when did Bethesda combine the 2 games?
but yeah its a very graphics intensive game. I'm also running w/ the 6800GT. With the graphics turned up basically all the way, barring AA/AS, and at 1024x768.... i get about 15-20fps. i have to turn off the grass and shadow filtering to get ~30... playable at least. HDR is where its at though. can't have that disabled.

llDayo, I used to have an FX5600, and even though the card above will be an improvement, it won't be as great as you might think. It is only a 128MB card. If you get a 6800, make sure it is the 256MB version, not a 128MB.
-
yes yes. very good point :P
-
Ah, I didn't realize it was only 128MB. I should have read that link a little more thoroughly. Thanks for pointing that out!
Yeah, blacksheep, 128 just won't cut it for me. Too much processing is needed and that would just slow the card down.
BTW, yes Agent, i goofed. Elder Scrolls IV, you geek and a half :P
-
pbbbbtttt
Nevermind. That ATI is the same generation.
-
you geek and a half :P
And don't you forget it!

BTW, found a PNY 6800 GT for $150. Put a bid in with 20 seconds left on the auction (Ebay), hehe

That's the way to do it.
