I have two of these cards for sale. I only plugged them into my PC to see if they would work, as I was building a HTPC, but then I got a HD TiVo for X-Mas and never built the box.
These cards have been opened but they are brand new, and I originally spend $172 ($86 ea) on the cards.
Card Specs (http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/products/data_hvr1600.html):
Watch hi-definition ATSC digital TV on your PC! Analog cable TV, too!
* Dual format TV receiver for your PC. Watch ATSC digital TV or analog cable TV, in a window or full screen.
* Watch and record all ATSC formats, including the highest definition 1080i format!
* Includes TV scheduler, remote control and IR blaster to control satellite and cable TV set top boxes.
WinTV-HVR-1600 has these great features
WinTV-HVR-1600 model 1178

* Includes Hauppauge's WinTV2000 application. If you live in an area where you can receive both ATSC digital and analog TV over the air, you can switch between analog and digital channels automatically.
* Includes an IR blaster to change the channel on your satellite or cable TV set top box.
* Bundled software includes a TV scheduler with link to TitanTV™ plus Ulead's® DVD MovieFactory™ authoring and burning software.
Digital ATSC HD TV features
* ATSC over-the-air digital TV receiver built-in. Supports all ATSC formats, up to the high definition 1080i format!
* Record ATSC digital TV to your PC's hard disk using high quality MPEG-2. TV recordings will typically consume 5 Gb of disk space per hour for ATSC high definition.
Analog TV features

* 125 channel cable ready TV receiver built-in. With dbx-TV stereo decoder, for great TV sound.
* Composite/S-Video and audio inputs, for cable or satellite set top boxes or VCRs.
* Record TV shows to your PC's hard disk using the built-in high quality hardware MPEG-2 encoder. While recording, the hardware encoder does all the work so your PC continues to run at full speed! 1-2 Gigabytes of disk is used per hour of recorded video.
Digital QAM features
If you are using digital cable which broadcasts digital cable channels "in the clear" (clear QAM), you can receive these QAM channels with the new WinTV v6 application.
Note: not all cable TV networks broadcast clear QAM channels
Note: Vista Media Center does not currently support clear QAM channels. To watch clear QAM channels, you should use the Hauppauge WinTV v6 application.

I would be interested in one of them. Been looking for one to throw in a box to make it a media center computer for behind my TV. how about $40 at the next LAN??

Rathe I can do it for $60 for one, that's still $27 less than what I paid for a single card. They are still new cards (aside of being opened and plugged in one time), and on newegg the card is still $87 w/ shipping (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815116009).
Also as an FYI, the money I am getting for my old parts is going into my storage machine (the 3TB setup ShadoHawk and I were discussing) which will be used at FITES events.

Sooo......
If he doesn't give you $60, you have zero. $40 is more than zero unless the black hole has taken over.

I don't think he wants to take that big of a hit on these new items.

I just helped you along your journey! ;D

Yes, Decepticon is correct. I believe I offset the cost of the card enough to reflect the one use I got out of it.

Last call before I put them on eBay!
