Im checking if my HACC email will work. excellent price and i was looking at the comparison chart for the different editions. I think this Premium ed would do what I need it to.

I assume a quad core is still 1 physical CPU, right?

Yeah most copies of windows 7 have installs for both 32 and 64. All of the retail ones anyways.

I went the technet route.  Gives me access to Win7, all the various server OS', Office 2010 when it comes out, etc.  Good stuff for the price.

You can get MSDNAA access and get win7 downloads and keys.  You need to be a student, theres some ways around that though.
