maybe you should just get another mobo. one that supports 8 gig then maybe theres a sale of such board on newegg. sell that one ebay or something.
I would do that, but I just picked this board up like 3 weeks ago. Other than this issue the board had everything I was looking for (and it was cheap).
I spent quite a bit of time deciding on this board, and I'm not looking to spend much more money on it. In the end this is going to be a file server/print server/syslog/misc... None of which are very memory intensive.
I still have a few days left that I could send it back to newegg for a refund, but I don't know if I want to spend the extra cash to ship it back and then even more money on another board.
