Question about LAN planning

Hey guys -

I'm not sure who did the planning for your LAN but a couple members of my community have attended your LAN's in the past and have had nothing but great things to say about it. I'm attempting to plan my first LAN and I was wondering if the guy or people who planned the FITES lan's would have a minute or two or an email address I can just ask maybe 2-3 integral questions. I'd appreciate it greatly. Thank you so much in advance.

Nicky runs the [iO] clan, which is an excellent group of people at (gratutious site plug) www.iogaming.net .  I directed him to you guys because he had a lot of questions I can't answer and since FITES always throws an awesome LAN party I figured who better to connect him with than you guys.  Any help will be appreciated as he is trying to plan the first ever official big [iO] sponsored LAN.

@sully - I'm not at the lan this weekend unfortunately, gravdigr is. Some email/I'm q&a would be phenomenal.
