Title: Suggestions
Post by: Mr.Tibbs on December 27, 2007, 07:29:37 PM
My Belkin N1 Desktop Wireless card stopped working tonight. Now I need suggestions on built in desktop cards. Such as Netgear, Linksys, that sort of thing. I paid like $206 for the thing, and it didn't last me a year which really sucks. It was the only one I found to hold a connection, even when my computer is upstairs. It always stayed connected, now I don't know whether to buy another one or try a different flavor. But come to thing of it, does anyone here use desktop wireless cards besides me?

I think a drill and cable is cheaper... Even the long bits to get between floor, but I love my cable so don't listen to me.

Yeah if I knew my dad was going to be putting in hardwood floors and changing the floor plan around I would be fine. I like it when I had cable, I never had to worry about a signal. And I never lagged in any games, whereas wireless totally sucked for me at least.

I might just have to go that route. Hopefully this one lasts longer tehn my N1.
