So I'm looking to install an RSS reader on my server so it will pull down some podcasts/web shows that I will then stream to my XBox, but I've not really explored RSS readers before. The requirements I have for this would be that it has to be lightweight (the hardware I'm using for my server is pretty old), have the ability to save the media files from the feeds into a directory of my choosing, the ability to automatically purge old content (for example, keep only the 10 most recent items from the feed). I am not concerned with the reader's text abilities as I will really only be getting video and audio feeds.

This also has to be a standalone application, not a web-based reader or something that integrates into a browser or e-mail client.

Do any of you have any recommendations for me given my above requests? Free/open source is preferred, but not required.
