if i have at&t but want aphone that is sold with sprint. is it possible in some way i can use it with at&t? ihave read in some forums that ifi get it unlocked u can use it with other companies

This is true. All you have to do is find the phone you want in a unlocked form. This will allow you to use it with any carrier.

If I am not mistaken, sprint uses the same network that verizon does.  Verizon uses cdma signals.  ATT uses gsm signals.  CDMA is not compatible with GSM and visa versa.  Therefore verizon/sprint phones will not work with att/tmobile.

I was just going to say this. Verizon and sprint are on cdma vs gsm for att.  I don't think the 2 can be brought together even if they are unlocked
