Simple Forum Question
« on: March 12, 2004, 02:57:20 AM »
I had just heard about FITES via a friend, and I am also a part of a LAN group that is 15 mins away from Harrisburg.  We just got php-nuke up and running, but I am having problems implementing our own banner on top rather than the provided banner by php-nuke.  I have knowledge in HTML, but this is my first time configuring php-nuke, any help would be greatly appreciated!

www.rn.lazyslacker.com     is the site, and we have a flash banner created for the site as well, so it will look nice once it is implemented.

Hey bro, great to have you!  Feel free to pimp the 100 MAN LAN... we have groups from state college, mechanicsburg, Lock Haven etc coming!

Back to your question.  PHP Nuke, you need to go into the /themes/yourtheme/header.html file to change the way the header looks on all of the nuke pages.

If you open it in dreamweaver (or whatever html editor you use) and if you can view it as "design" rather than code.  You will see the table layout.

Good luck!

Oh, and just 1 more thing... I want to make it clear... the header.htm file is standard across EVERY page in nuke.  It isnt just for the forums.

Thanks a lot heh, we definatly aren't new to gaming as our group is roughly 3 years old, but just php-nuke.  The 100 Man LAN is actually being held at the same place where our high school's prom was!  You can probably expect to see us there :)

Hmmm, all themes are different, so maybe it doesnt use the header.htm

you can always search for it.  Do you have a header.php?  If so, you can TRY that...

You are probably better off using a forum like www.nukecops.com for this kinda stuff, as I am newbie to php as it is.
