minecraft issues

ive have minecraft for a few months now and now allofa sudden it causes my system to crash/lockup ive updated all of the drivers i could ( gpu soundcard and even updated my bios) still happens, anyone run into this issue also?
Pc specs
AMD Phenom II 940 x4 ( 3.0ghz)
ASUS M4N72-E mobo
8gb of Gskill DDR2 800 gaming ram
(2x) EVGA GTS 450 1gb sli
1 seegate 500gb HDD ( primary)
1 western digital 500 GB HDD ( games drive)
1 Western digital 2tb drive ( media)
creative X-fi titanium
850w PSU

Have you tired updating your Java client?

If you run a 64bit OS make sure you get the 64bit JRE.

If you run a 64bit OS make sure you get the 64bit JRE.

wher can i get it? i tried googling it but i end up finding a java 10.1 beta which is only 32 bit

If you go to the java wqebsite, make sure you are using a 64bit browser or it will default to a 32bit version of java.
