Migrated to windows seven, other than waiting for steam to download/patch everything its been pretty painless.

My only gripes are the ugly blue boot/shutdown screens, I had finally killed them all in XP.  The start menu/task bar is going to take some getting used to as well.  Now I gotta figure out how everything works and ill be set.

The new task bar has increased my workflow efficiency by a lot. Quicklaunch is entirely useless, with the introduction of task bar pinning. Middle clicks create new instances, task bar reordering, ctrl-shift-click run the programs in admin mode, and a whole load of other efficiency hotkeys. Great stuff.

I got the desktop icons shrunk and I am digging the pin to taskbar thing now, the start menu needs some tome to get used to.

Gotta bench, hopefully ripbot will give me a few more FPS when transcoding 1080p.
