ok. i'm planning on getting an lcd. 19 inches. widescreen.

i found 4 that i liked.

1. Samsung 940BW

thats the order that i seemed to like them. but i don't know anything about lcds, so i have no idea what im doing. what do you think?

I would go with the Acer#4. The clarity and brightness on those monitors is incredible. I have seen the Acer labtop screens, and was blown away by the clarity.

I personally would never buy anything acer makes.  My first choice would be the samsung.  They make sweet stuff.  I have a 19" widescreen and it is really awesome.

What video card do you have?  If it is any sort of ok card, it should work fine.

lol. a radeon 9000pro.
but im planning on getting a new one soon. as soon as i can find a good deal.
my cards mad old.

i kinda like the samsung too. it seems to have better quality. but the sceptre has more contrast and colors. not really sure what that means, but does it make a difference to me?

if I ever actually buy a new monitor(LCD if it were), it would either be a Samsung or BENQ. So yeah, I'd agree with billa on the Samsung bit. :P

lol. k. i was gona get the samsung today, but officemax raised the price by $60 (wtfs up with that??)

lucky for me i found the same one at compusa. unfortunatly its only the same price after the rebate, but still.. my mom'l do it.

Today is Sunday, so it's a new ad this week. The price you saw originally was for last week's ad. Most retail stores run ads Sunday through Saturday, so there are new deals every week.
