Title: Home Wifi trouble. Any suggestions?
Post by: Czar on April 03, 2015, 08:37:28 AM
So here's the deal.

It appears as if my newly updated Android Lollypop devices are not playing nice with my in-home wifi.

The symptom is that when accessing a web page or any app that requires data, the connection will hang for around 15-20 seconds and then proceed as normal. There is NO decrease in speeds once the connection seems to proceed but this 20 second pause has to go.

Here are some other details that may help:

(=) This only happens on MY home network
(=) This only happens with Android 5.0 devices (laptops are fine)
(=) I have pfSense running
(=) I'm using my wireless router as an access point with stock settings/firmware

Any suggestions at all?
