Getting to the 100 Man LAN

Umm... :wtf:  mapquest wants me to take the route outlined in purple,  :headscratch: (75 miles, 1.5hrs) but I'm thinking something more like the one I outlined in red.  Granted, route 30 5uxX0r5, but GEEZ!  Any suggestions? :feedback:  Carpool, anyone? :smoke:

------------------edit-----------------

And oh yeah, I think these are neat, so I'm sharing.

From York to Chambersburg on a Saturday Morning.

Route 30 - 2 hours
I80-I81 - 1.25 hours

83/80 is longer, but faster.  If you go Rt. 30, you hit every red light in every poedunk on the way.  Plus, they may still be doing yard sales along 30, and that is horribleeee.

Yeah, I've gone both ways before....although Route 30 is shorter in mileage, the speed limit is slower, you have red lights to deal with, and traffic will suck. Rt. 30 is only 1-lane from just west of York almost the whole way to Chambersburg. There's a couple miles of 2-lane, but nothing significant.

I would take the 83/81 route.
Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!

Kewl, I'll do it that way, thanks everyone for the advice. :urock:

And COME ON!  You can't really let him get away with this, can you?  :P

SOMEBODY has to razz him for it!  :boxer:  I'm new here so I'm not gonna, but I think somebody has to do it!  No self respecting wiseass could face himself in the morning if he went un-prodded. ;)

Seriously though, thanks.
