I have a folder on my storage drive that I can't get rid of. Every time I try to delete it, it says I need permission. Now I know that since I'm obviously the Admin. on my computer that means whatever is in this folder is being used by some operation. So I restarted in safe mode and I still can't delete or move this folder. Is there anything I can do short of making it a hidden folder? I mean, whatever its for I don't really care but I don't want some system resource folder on a drive that doesn't have any OS stuff on it. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated, except for "format your hard drive."

well I finally got rid of the damn thing. After doing what Shoctor suggested it still wouldn't let me delete the entire folder, but it let me change the security options on the sub-folders, which it wouldn't let me do before. So I had to systematically change the permissions on each sub-folder to give me full control then delete each one of those, and finally the folder they were stored in. Thanks a lot guys, I'm glad to have that taken care of.

I was about 2 minutes from going all "Broken Shadow" on it. I was pretty well pissed off at it when I went to bed last night.
