At the last 200 LAN I got a hard drive enclosure from Hoss and I finally found my old 60GB IDE drive to put into it. but I have a problem the drive is partitioned into a 50 gig main drive and a 10 gig backup drive. so my question to you is is there any way I can "re-partition"(or would it be de-partition?) it back into one 60 GB drive? Thanks for your help.

If you can get windows to recognize it, just use the disk management module to delete all the partitions then repartition it. Right click My Computer and click Manage. Then click on Disk management and find the disk that matches your HD. Right click each partition and delete each one. After all are gone, right click it again and click create partition and follow the prompts.

Thanks Decepticon! I know I still have a-lot to learn about computers, because I've actually never seen that screen before.

And when I started reading I thought it was something like you needed to re-size a partition... We can do that too!
