Dual GPU in Win7
« on: July 26, 2009, 08:21:17 AM »
I installed 7 last night and downloaded the latest ATI drivers. Took me awhile to get it, the first try was a BSOD. Finally narrowed it down to a driver installed by 7 during the installation. Third time was the charm, went to the CCC to configure the cards and some settings. And noticed it was only seeing one card and not two of therm. Device Manager sees them both, but CCC only sees the one that is using the monitor. I should be able to tweak both the cards, mainly the fan speed. I might have a solution. Just want some opinions, I still have Vista so it is not totally worthless. They are ATI 4870 cards.

EDIT: It is Win7 x64

EDIT: Problem Solved.

Apparently with 7 it will only show you one card. And whatever adjustments you make to the card it will automatically do to the other. Even though you don't see the other card in the CCC it is still there.
