Help - Nasty Virus

Ok so somehow someway (i really dont know how) I got a virus the other day which is really pretty nasty. Basically I'm allowed to view websites but when I go and click on a link, it pops up a new tab which brings up a completely different site at random. I have ran Spybot and Adaware and both have had no luck in getting rid of the SOB (They dont even see it). I also ran Hijack This as well. I see the SOB as well (The stupid winsock file I assume) but can not remove it.

I ran LSP fix, completely deleting my winsock dll files and ran netsh and reset the winsock files. I just cannot seem to get rid of the thing. If u've ran into this before, let me know how u got to fix it. An OS reinstall is not in the picture as its a laptop running raid and I have no usb floppy to run drivers (gay ass Microshaft doesnt have Crap when it comes to raid support so windows repair or reinstall are out of the question)

**Nevermind...After Ad-Aware and Spybot both couldnt get it, I ran across this program called malware bytes and after a 3 min scan, it found and deleted everything. It's pretty impressive if u havent used it before. Spybot and Adaware really have been slacking recently. It's worth a DL if u ever have issues

We had a bout of spyware going around at work a few weeks ago (the AntiVirus XP 2008 hoax) and that's what I used to clean it up, as I also experienced that Ad-Aware, Spybot AND Windows Defender couldn't completely get rid of it. Windows Defender partially got rid of it, but the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware cleaned out everything.

If you'd like a USB floppy drive, I have one I'd be willing to sell you for $5. Let me know and I'll bring it to the LAN (cable included).
