On second thought, download all of the maps, they are all of good quality, and should make DC a more enjoyable game to play at the lan.

"Here is a list of maps that WILL be played at the next lan." - Pride

That is a whole lot of DC maps; 119 in fact. If we play ALL 119 maps
at the next lanparty, with each map taking about 40 minutes, and 10 minutes (being optimistic) between maps for loading, the lan party will have to be at least 99 hours long even if we play only DC.

If you insist on playing all 119 maps, the load times alone will account for about 19 hours, since the lan only lasts about 12 before people start petering out, we could save time and gas by staying home and picturing the loading screen in our heads for the better part of a day...

 :lol2

A suggestion would be that each person submits one map w/ game they would like to play, we cue them up in order of who signed up when and work our way through. 20 maps seems much more reasonable, and gives everyone a chance to play their favorite map/game.

Well smart ass  :beadyeyes

1/3rd of those maps are the 001.rfa which are copies of the actual map used (I didnt edit them out), so subtract that.

Then subtract the 24 or so that comes with BF already.  And you are down to a measily 50 or so.

haha  :jester

The maps will all be available on the server, but organizing something like what you are thinking is WAAAY too difficult.  Just have everyone get all of the maps, and we can play whichever ones I pick haha

Difficult?
Ha, maybe to a mere mortal such as you, but not for me.....  :nana

I will be in charge of compiling the list (if the players are interested) and hand you a nice printed copy of what maps people want to play when you get there. See, nice and easy. Simply add them to the incredible slow server program you downloaded, wait 15 minutes for the map to load, and go to town.....

Of course we should break it down into Original, DC, and EOD flavors and cue them togehter for simplicity sake....

So, everyone, tell me what you think, I dont mind the extra 10 minutes of work...   :feedback

I think a good ol' vote would suffice here. So we can ALL agree on which maps should be played. Not just you pride.... hmmm, does your name have something to do with this?  :angel

Without the 001.rfa files there are 98 maps. Making about over 70 maps subtracting the original maps that come with the game.....

Can you tell I like numbers?
