One would think the CD-Keys would be more valuable...

That sounds crazy.  Do you think it was from the WalMart DC?  They have shrink wrap machines, etc there.  Or do you think it was further up the chain in manufacturing?

Further up the chair definately. Most PC game boxes dont come shrink wrapped. Its those rectangular stickers over the flaps. Pretty hard to remove nicely without taking the box art with it. These were clean and looked like new.

I guess it could have been worse... They could have been AOL CDs!

Not if you know the secret to it and are extremely careful. When I worked in retail, I did this on several occasions and the boxes looked untouched. But I never used them online so as not to invalidate the purchaser's cd-key (or "mine").
Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!

Now im quite pissed...
first of all steam support is really bad and does not reply or replies with useless automated messages.

From a recent google search on this issue i have learned  this has happened to many ppl (disabled steam account) who have bought valid valve sofware brand new or steam downloaded (like me) without reason.

I also tied the cd key reset process. which i have still not a message regarding that for weeks.

Now I am waiting more than a month helplessly while i wait for a miracle to happen that will make my valve games work

Can anyone provide me with a valid phone number for valve software or steam so i can fix this problem?
