Author Topic: BF2 Armoured Fury - Lancaster County (Read 2351 times)

Has anyone else played the new BF2 expansion pack? As reported by EA earlier, Lancaster county is in the game and has what looks to be an Amish buggy in it.

Overall the expansion seems good, except the fact that I crashed to the desktop in the middle of a game. (I figure it was a freak crash).

That is the one that is downloadable right, either way I haven't tried it yet. I just got the game installed like last week and have been tweaking my 6600 LE and the game at the same time to better play the game. I think I found the right combo, so if it is a downloadable pack sure I will download it. It can't be any worse then Spec Ops expansion.

Yes, Armoured Fury is a downloadable booster pack.

Since you are installing BF2 now, I give this heads up for Special Forces. Do not patch BF2 to version 1.3 before installing special forces (at least one of the first copies). Special Forces automatically patches the game to 1.1 no matter the current version. It will take the game from 1.3 to 1.1. Upon repatching to 1.3, I started to crash during online games.

I was down at EB looking for Battlefront 2 and I saw the deluxe edition of BF2. Didn't get it mind you but I will eventually.

fraps will take the screen cause i dont know if BF2 can do it.

Just have to save the image as a JPEG, or else it takes up like 4 megs.
