Anyone update BF2 to version 1.3 and have a lot of issues?

care to explain?  mine glitches every so many seconds.  It is almost as if there is lag.

just bad patch.... when they tried to speed up loading of servers, maps, ect.... they really f'ed sumthing up... i dont play bf2 that much anymore becasue of the horrible support

Yea I managed to not have any issues with the last few patches but this one got me.  Even booted me to desktop during a game.  They better get a damn fix out soon:(

I still havn't gotten my issue with patching bf2 to 1.3 fixed right. It gives a error while updating, says it patched correctly then when u try 2 launch, it goes to the menu and crashes. I've even gotten to the point of uninstalling and reinstalling windows, but it still does not wanna patch right. I've installed it on a seperate hd as well....and again nothing

I've given up on messing with bf2 for this exact reason. Never have had many issues with it before...i had it installed and working fine. I did switch out my vid card a little ways back so i'm thinking that maybe  it has something to do with not supporting my co card. idk, i'm all fed up with EA.

is it agreed to roll back to 1.2?  when ther LAN comes we will all have to be on the same page.  Too bad EA can't fix their game.  Maybe they should stop worrying about making their webpage updates.

the only thing about switching back is you won't be able to join any of the online servers because most switch up to the patch as soon as it's released.

At lanparties, we have agreed to always play the latest patch level.... reason being, its easier for people to patch up, than it is for people to uninstall, reinstall, and patch to an earlier version.

Hopefully by mid august EA has a fix

understood about the patching for LANS

 I did try to fix mine by uninstalling the whole game and reinstalling from scratch.  I just used the complete 1.3 patch upgraded from the original out of box version. All seemed to be OK.  I only state this as a possible recommendation (realizing it is a pain) for others that are having issues.

I haven't had any issues with patches for BF2. Of course, I haven't played or downloaded any patches for it since the 100 man, but still! :)
