Title: Banners
Post by: Napalm on January 30, 2012, 03:05:48 PM
Hola!

I was wondering if the FITES peeps would mind if we brought a clan banner to hang on the wall behind our seats (we have about 9 or so people comin). This would be just for fun, not advertising anything.

Lemme know, thanks.

Sure can! Might i recommend what we saw at QuakeCon...folks had frames they made from PVC pipe to display the banner on a stand on their table. We're fine with that. If not, we'll help you hang it. they have drop ceilings there and stuff is easily hung from it.

The only caveat that I think I recall is they asked us not to tape things to the walls. This might not be the case, but I would ask that people refrain from adhering anything to the wall as to not damage the venue.

Thanks for the info! Not sure if we're gonna do it, but yea getting a stand on the table sounds easier. I appreciate the quick responses!!

When you are ready to put up your banner, please get a hold of a member of staff.

We typically have members assigned to tables for setup, but you can reach out to anyone on staff if you can’t find your table member. Don’t forget, we have a help desk!

We want to make sure everything is put in place safely, properly secured, and does not interfere with equipment/network/power cables, etc.
