address bar question
« on: December 17, 2008, 06:51:52 PM »
When i type in a new web page it stays on my pull down on my address bar. is there a way i can get it to not add a new address to the pull down & freeze what is on there now? it used to do that until my wife messed with it.

I can you help you with the first part, but I've never heard of "freezing what's already there".

And besides, now is a better time than ever to make the switch to FireFox (or Chrome....or Opera....or even Safari). Even Microsoft has suggested so as a workaround to their latest critical IE security flaw: http://www.sophos.com/blogs/gc/g/2008/12/16/stop-viewing-porn-in-internet-explorer-for-now/
Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!
