Title: A+ Certification

Anyone know of any places in PA that you can go to take the test. As of this coming Monday the test will be changed so I missed my chance at trying the old test. CLN is one place I am going there for my NISA, but they ran out of vouchers. And they don't get that many and for good reason. I know there is a place in Rossmoine Business Center in PA, I just don't know the name of it. I won't take the test anytime soon just for my reference. I know that CLN is never going to have enough vouchers for everyone. Even though I only get a $28 discount, feedback here would be great. Thanks

Last time I looked, I believe HACC offered the test. My suggestion would be to go to CompTIA's website and lookup testing locations there.

Thanks sully, I went on CompTIAs website and found the prices of all the tests they offer. And I found a test locator that gives you info on places where you can go to take the tests. Although it wasn't easy finding it.

The place you were looking for in the Rossmoyne business center is New Horizons. I've taken around a dozen IT exams there since it's right by where I live and convenient.  To take an exam, like the A+, actually it's 2 exams for this cert, you have to schedule it through a site such as VUE: http://www.vue.com/

I did New Horizons as well. My job paid for the prep course and the test.

Sorry was spacing out, I completely forgot New Horizons was down that way. I was about to go there for school, but then I chose CLN. I graduate in January of 2008. Not to long now, I hope to have a few certifications before I leave. They used to have at CLN if you didn't get any certifications you didn't graduate. But now they no longer enforce it, don't know why though.

I know they just changed the test last month for the A+. Which is a good thing because the old one was seriously outdated. Thanks for your input, much appreciated.
