Title: (Solved) Could not connect to steam network ?

I can download updates to steam, but when I try to actually log in, i get a box saying "Could not connect to steam network." and something about how it could be my ISP or Steam.

Suggestions?

I -did- install a new router last night...dont tell me that could be the problem.

Bah. Solved

Turns out Steam pooped its pants when it couldnt utilize port 1200 which is reserved for the friend's network...which doesnt even work. All forwarded and all fixed.
