NEED MOAR PEEPS!

That chart is awesome but makes me realize that we only have 2 people per connie there. We need more people in this group to fully man those Constellations, utilize their mini fighters, and have dedicated fighter/bomber ships.

I can feel the atmosphere of the FITES Star Citizen Mini-LAN tingling in my nether regions already.

I still plan on purchasing a hornet with the sensor package come Black Friday this year. So hopefully that can be added in November. I will rejoice even further when they announce you can buy just player packages. No ship. Just a player slot so you can man larger ships.

Yes! I'll get Owen one. He can man a turret. Has this been announced as an option?

Sadly, no... :(

I don't think they are in the position to yet, and didn't want to for the alpha release. I'm hoping that when the game goes to full out of beta launch, they will offer it as an option to entice new players in. especially when it comes time to man a carrier.

Can you imagine trying to operate that thing, but everyone wants to leave and fly their planes? You still need a crew.

Hi all,

I'm with you.  I was a founder a couple years back during the first kickstarter.  I have a 300i and will probably upgrade to the 325A.

I upgraded to the 325a.  I just couldn't help myself.  Based on the some of the buzz I was considering melting my 300i for an Avenger, but if I did that I would lose my alpha perks.  I could have just bought it outright, but I didn't want another similar ship.  Plus the 325a is damn sexy.

I had to upgrade to the business hangar too.  The ship didn't look right in the discount hangar.

I am actually waiting it out all the way until black friday again this year to see what I can pick up on sale. I want to buy the Hornet AWACS set. It would give us some nice eyes when it comes time to move as a group or to move resources.

I see they updated the ships page and have a listing for a F8 Lightning which is supposed to be the successor to the hornet.

Someone posted a stats comparison before it was taken down:

I can see how it is more nimble with a larger power plant, but it also appears to be a craft that favors head on engagements with other fighters. It appears on paper to be sufficient at taking on a Hornet 1v1, but it would be hard pressed to outdo a Super Hornet (with the dedicated turret gunner) or a Hornet with the auto targeting ball turrets in place.

Also, it's necessary to note this version will be watered down in some way for the civilian version, just like the F7 was.

Looking at this, I'm still in the market for the F7 with sensor package. I think the specialty variant will help us more when we fly together in a group than with having just some more guns.
Eventually something cool will go in here. It's a matter of time.

Ok, with the recent stat changes I kept having thoughts about the avenger.  So, I melted my business hangar and picked up the avenger.  It comes with a business hangar anyway.  So now I have two ships, a 325a and an Avenger.

Czar, when you get a chance can you update the graphics for my ships please?

Thanks.

Ok, I have to update my ships.  I melted my Avenger and got a freelancer MIS.  I couldn't resist.
