(6/9/15)

I know a number of the fites guys have backed this game and are in the Alpha/Beta.  I was wondering what ships we have collectively among us.  It's stated in the SC forums that soon we'll be able to checkout each others hangars and in the final game we'll be able to grant access to friends to fly our ships.  So i'll start and list my ships please follow up and list yours as well.

I'm seriously considering trading in my Aurora for a Cutlass. Q and A sessions posted by devs lean towards this being used for boarding other ships hence the extra crew member, docking collar, and tractor beam. It also has twice as many maneuvering thrusters as the 300 series. It'll need a little firepower upgrade but I'm ok with that as it has -12- upgradable points.

And I'm thinking of getting one of the F7A-Hornets as a dedicated fighter role. Someone needs to do overwatch while the rest of you go boarding.

careful as right now there is debate as the only hornet available is the civilian model which lacks turrets.

yea in the spec sheet they list both models but if you go to buy the hornet the only one you can purchase is the civilian model.  That said, it has weapons just not the kickass turret which is replaced with a cargo area.  Some are saying that you can add the turret back on the civilian model later on.
