Title: So what are We?
Post by: Mr.Tibbs on October 15, 2013, 04:58:22 PM: That is the question, if you guys watched the CitizenCon event. They revealed the options of what kind of guild you could have in the game. There are four options to choose from at the moment:

Corporation (Pretty Self Explanatory)
PMC aka Private Military Company
Religion (Stonecutters) :) or a cult
Syndicate

So which one shall we be? I would say a PMC considering not too many people here like corporations or the government whatsoever. We are not really religious here, the only other option I see is the Syndicate option. I know some have expressed interest in just being pirates. Which I am all for, granted the game is still pretty far off here. But I figured we could at least get the options spinning.

Post by: Czar on October 15, 2013, 05:42:56 PM: We may have to have a dual role of Syndicate and legit corp. If the tracks reputation, we should find a way to keep the corp in good light so we can do pirate activities and lure ships in to our little traps.

And you can give the members of your guild a job to accomplish. You can give your members certain rights to do certain things. Like assign jobs to people, hire and fire. But I would like to know if it is limited to one certain entity.

If you go to 49 minutes into it you can see how to manage organizations. very informative.
