If you guys have not checked out video clips of the newest PTUpatch, then you need to. People are stealing ships, infiltrating, and flying around doing EVA's to other ships. Really impressive stuff.

Is it buggy????  YES!!!  very buggy but its alpha and to be expected.

ok so today I finally got in since a new patch came out and fixed some issues.  it is beautiful!  im not a good pilot yet but I jumped in a cutlass and flew shotgun and its was amazing.  The pilot was good and we made the jump to light speed and then he was doing all kinds of awesome acrobatic maneuvers around a space station.  Its still really buggy but I can see this becoming the game we all hoped it would.

I just got my invite to the PTU. But of course, I'm gone all weekend. I'll check back in when I get a chance.

Ok heres a little video I made using FRAPS.  unfortunetly I crashed a couple minutes into it but it gives you the idea of the multi-crew ships.  My graphics were set to low because fraps really eats up the cpu and so does star citizen so I wanted to get a reasonable frame rate.

Fired it up, flew around, then the game crashed.

Not a whole lot of action, but I am EXCITED. Knowing where this game is in the dev phase right now, I know it has a lot of progress to be done yet. I don't even mind the crashing since I know it provides useful data to the devs.

Unexpected highlight: You can indeed get caught in a planet's gravitational well.

Finally got 2 of us into the same instance and flew in the connie together.  It was awesome to finally see what the game is capable of and I cant wait for future patches so we can all get into this game together.
