CIG released some specifications on the future plans for Electronic Warfare within the ships, and it looks good. Really interesting stuff, but I am curious about the implementation. I hope they add a "Skill" element to the use of it, rather than just point values versus point values.

The way they talk about parts and ship modules makes it looks like a Connie or Cutlass could be retrofit into a stealth or Electronic warfare  style ship.

I wouldn't mind having some electronic warfare on my cutlass but at this point, aimable guns are a priority.

I hope they make the jamming and hacking process into some sort of mini-game. They've already said that exploration to new jump points will have a mini game that your navigator needs to do.
