The names and images of connie variants have been announced:



By initial look/name I'm going to wager that Taurus is the cargo ship and Phoenix is a combat oriented ship. I think Andromeda would be an exploration model since it is the name of another Galaxy, and that would leave Aquila as the "luxury yacht" variant.

I'm sure that's going to be announced at the Aussie GamesCon.

If we could get Chris Roberts and his team to fight it out over our LAN... I would be so happy.

There are no dedicated combat models which looks really interesting. I guess all connies will be on the same level when they start.

BTW, with people buying up variants the stretch goal has been shattered. Linguists are on board, and a new goal should be announced soon.

I did upgrade my Aurora to a 315i since I am not upgrading my Connie.
