Anniversary sale is live everyone.  You can finally pick up that limited ship or upgrade you wanted.  The biggest thing is that all of the ships come with 2 year insurance.  They are the same price as the last time they were offered, so if anyone has any limited ships with 6 month insurance just melt it down and purchase with the store credit.  I did it for my limited ships.  I also now have a Super Hornet.  8)

The ships included are: Aurora LX, 350r, M50, Freelancer MIS, Cutlass Blue, Super Hornet, Gladiator, Retaliator, Khartu-AL, Caterpillar, Banu MM, and Starfarer.  There is some flare too.

I picked up one of the fully upgraded Aurora packages in anticipation of doing a cross chassis upgrade on my initial Aurora to a Tracker Hornet. I was so close to purchasing one of the Gladiator bombers.

How cool would it be if we can all crew on of those Javelins/  Man this is going to be good.  I wonder how many UEE credits it costs?

Well, the current formula is one USD equals 1,000 UEC. If that formula stands, without any in game inflation, a base UEC price would be 2.5 million UEC.

This could be a good time to bring up an idea of donating some of your in game creds from solo runs to the FITES org to save up for a large cap ship like this.

I looked deeper into this and people are indicating that prices of ships in the PU will be upwards of 3x what a UEC conversion rate looks like. So the Javelin would come in somewhere around 7 million UEC.

All the same I think it would be neat to have a large faction ship. We'll have to see what ships are available when the PU launches, but I think it would be awesome to have one that can hold a fighter or two.

I guess at this point we should what happens with the launch of orgs and the PU itself. I'm sure we're not the first group of people that are curious about it. Will there be org only UEC Bank accounts? Who owns the ship if it is purchased for an org? But at least for now we can discuss how many people are willing to pitch in some in game creds for it.

Guys have you checked out the concept art for the Javelin? Even bigger than the Idris it looks to have hangar space for at least 3 fighters in addition to 9 manned turrets, and multiple crew stations. This thing is massive.



So it's going to take some in game credit hunting for sure, but I think once we walk the halls of this beauty it'll be hard to stop jizzing in our pants.
