Hey guys! I'm <name> from Laclede's LAN. We have thrown thirteen PC-centric LAN parties over the past decade and are planning another on January 3rd, 2015, with tournaments in League of Legends, Counter-Strike: GO, Hearthstone and even Minecraft. Even if you don't play those games, we’ll be devoting resources to making sure LAN servers are set up even for non-tournament games. Our events have proven (in our humble opinion) to be a highly effective and enjoyable way to draw together the PC enthusiast and gamer crowd for a memorable weekend, and we’re asking for help to get the word out about the next one.

Our approach this time has been to create a Kickstarter campaign that we hope will attract not only attendees and tournament entrants for our events, but also potential donors that want to support our non-profit organization, which is further explained on our site. To this end, we are working hard to deliver information about our project to every corner of the web, where our audience – PC gamers, IT guys, coders, and even people who just like the idea – have the best chance of finding us.
