Looks like a good time. I might consider it since the wife and I don't go out for New Years. She doesn't drink but ALWAYS gets sick. It's very bizarre. But where are my Baltimore area LANs? No one seems to LAN close to me. The MD Gamers are to the south. PA and NJ got them to the north... Bah.

Also, I have moved this thread to the Other LAN Parties section.

Me too man, deadmau5 rocks. Agreed, but I was pretty much the only one capturing footage, so at the end of the day, I just used what I had and this was the result... next time!

I think what he meant was that we had never really heard about/from you guys. And I know that we go looking to advertise on other LAN forums like you have done here. Poking through what I have read on your forums the current iteration of the site is fairly new.

Good point -- I should have prefaced that I used to be an active member of the FITES forums back in like 2004, but my account has since been deleted and/or expired. Right, the website is still pretty new (May 2010), but we've come a long way in such a short period of time. Basically, we created it as a portal for our close group of friends, but we're always looking for gamers/supporters to play with and expand our community. It would be cool to have some "randoms" show up at our New Year's LAN in Harrisburg, but we're only shooting for 20 people so it may fill up too quickly! We tried our luck getting sponsors for the event, but no dice...

Hey guys,

  I see Shank has posted and I would just like to reiterate what he already said I suppose :P.  We are a real tiny, very close group of friends that have known each other since high school and have had small scale LAN's since 2000.  We have had sort of a "closed society" thing going on for years haha.  Only this year did we put together that website and promo video, as we would like to expand our community, and meet more people. 

  Our event coming is up capped at 20 people, but we would love to expand beyond that number if we can (definitely not in the realm of Pittco or Fites numbers, but maybe about 50 or so would be a nice turnout).  Our events are very small compared to most, but are lot of fun with really chill people.  We are a friendly bunch, that love to game and keep touch for as long as we can.  It would be awesome to have some new faces there if possible.  Don't worry, we don't bite :)

  I have been to Pittco twice, and Fites once (I'm sure that nobody remembers or cares, but some goofy ass picture of me is up on this site somewhere of me holding a 2nd place UT2K4 trophy and looking like a douche in a beanie :P ) and had a blast at each event.
