Maryland LAN Gamers LAN party Dec 2 to Dec 4 Greenbelt, Md
« on: November 12, 2011, 03:37:14 PM »
Hey guys,

I just saw on your site that there's a big LAN party scheduled for February..Woo Hoo !!!...in the meantime, MLG is having one of our own down in Greenbelt, Md at the Greenbelt Fire Dept. It's a good sized place with plenty of room. However, on the bad side..the fire dept doesn't have any broadband internet connection. So playing BFBC2 in multiplayer wouldn't be an option..BUT..since it's probably going to be a mostly BF3 and COD MW3 LAN then things should be fine.

It was good to meet some of you last year in Mechanicsburg. Sorry I haven't been around for any of the other LANs, I've been pretty busy.

Here's some more info. It would be great to see some of you down there in December !! :) :)

It would be good to see some of you guys down there.

Here is the MLG site link: http://www.marylandlangamers.net/

ALSO, MLG has a sister clan for BF3 with some servers. That clan is "sackdraggersclan". Come on in, stop by and say hello.

We also have a public TS server. The addy is  VA1.Leetts.com:9992 and the PW is MLG

Hope to see some of you at the LAN

Just curious how you plan to have a BF3 tournament without an internet connection?
Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!

If I'm correct, BF3 is supposed to work in LAN..although I just asked DWG115 about this on TS and he is saying that there is NO LAN gameplay for BF3...WOW...I know I heard something about LAN for BF3 a few months ago.

Anyway, I'm not in charge of the LAN. Leatherman is. I'm guessing that COD MW3 will probably have a LAN feature within it.

Anyway...I just found this next article online and it talks about how EA/Dice MAY do something about LAN support IF there is a big enough of a push for it.

FYI,

MW3 does have a dedicated server. And you can set it up for LAN Play.

Guys,

I'll mention this to Leatherman about having MW3 down here. I'm pretty sure he will. I seem to recall hearing him say that he does have it.
