WNY Gamers Club is happy to announce our 250 Person LAN Party Extravaganza and Computer Show at the:

America's Fair Grounds (AKA: Erie County or Hamburg Fair Grounds)
Marketplace and Grange Buildings
5600 McKinley Parkway, Hamburg, NY 14075
on the weekend of Saturday, October 22nd from 9am through until Sunday the 23rd at 5pm at The Grange.

Unreal Tournament 2004 DeathMatch has been announced with a $500 Grand Prize. Counter Strike: Source and Battle Field 2 have both been announced with up to a

$500 top prize each, pending participant registration for the LAN. Also 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards for Unreal Tournament 2004 LastManStanding and

HalfLife 2 DeathMatch Tournaments Door prizes listed on our website.

Sry about the placement, Noticed that after it had already been moved. Our group travels all over the country for large LANs. Just posting on groups in NY, PA, OH and other boarding states.

Update: Currently it is looking as if we will have over $3000 in cash and prizes to give away. Possible even more as sponsorship for this event is turning out to be a lot higher then we expected and lots of sponsors are just contacting us now. Prize and sponsorship list is located on the website for all to view.

Besides the LAN Party going on that weekend, there are other events going on at the fairgrounds also. Here is a run down of other events:

WNY Computer Show and Expo
Fairgrounds gaming (over 900 slot machines)
Scare at the Fair (Haunted House)
WNY Gun Show and Expo

We are looking for more signups to make this event even better. We currently have signups from NY, PA, OH, MD, NC and FL. Even if you are only thinking about showing up and possible paying at the door please signup now as we need to an estimate of the amount of seating we need.

Damn, I would totally be into this party except i got 2 things planned for that day that i can't get out of. I do wanna start going to some of these other LANs and seeing what they do if anything different from us. Of course my loyalty is with FITES but im just curious. Also, maybe i can meet some other local people that would be interested in coming to our events.
